Using Our Backbone
Posted
On this road we travel I am back to, “You know I have a back bone I need to use it.” So here is the thing we need not use our back bone with unhealthy anger or bitterness. A firm but polite No or Yes. We are told in scriptures to let are No be No and our Yes be Yes. This not only gets me thinking about, um like when I tell my child No I need to keep it a No not turn around and say well OK. This just brings about confusion , a No is no longer a no but a sought after yes. I also see this true to what is on our heart….speak it! When we are out and about let us not let fear keep us from speaking up. At home if I need something done speak it, don’t stuff it down and only let it out when I'm at my wits end. When I say I am going to do something I need to do it as well. My journey will be learning how to speak those words effectively and in the right manner. Learning to keep my word and use my words. So having a back bone can take us right to communication, learning to communicate as well as our actions. Are you using your back bone and are you using it correctly? Please come again as I have future post about communication and using our back bones correctly as to where we don’t end up with back trouble. If anything learn from our mistakes.
