Orderly and clean....

One day at time and one room at a time heading towards better living where one can relax where the better routines are established and things run more smoothly. I want that perfect house nothing falling apart and perfectly clean. Perfect is not realistic though it can be work towards. As long as I except the imperfections I am able to move on and over look. One can be weighed down when you look at all the negative aspects and not move at all. That is where I once was... I am now choosing to look forward and to that which is good.

Routines must be in place and the right attitudes on board. Also be ready to fall or get behind because that is just going to be, so get ready and get back up. Back to the routines, back to the right attitude and back to those projects.

Learning from my failings of house trying to house keeping and establishing. We are getting back to our routines and back to our project and the days of BIG mess is history. Where I try and try but get know where. Everyday is a new day take comfort in that and join us as we move forward.

Get those routines together, get back to the projects and lets keep on trucking :)

Weeks house keeping map for now..... Sunday and Monday, working on bedrooms (one room at a time) Tuesday work on Living room, the bathroom and hallway. Wednesday and Thursday Kitchen and laundry. Friday wash sheets and blankets finish any rooms that still need working on and do a deep clean through out the house.

Lil Orphan Kitty

This kitty has kept us so very busy! It is like having a newborn baby in the house. Feeding every 2 to 3 hours. Then we seriously burp it and you must clean Kitty. We do this with a warm wipe to clean it to try and mimic the mommy. We hold it a bit to help the little kitty sleep then put it in the basket until next feeding or the kitty wakes up.

Here is Kitty with its big belly and one eye open. An eye opened at 8 days old. We now feed kitty evaporated goats milk. I have read you can feed this to newborn kitties and I have read you shouldn't. So if you wind up like us with a kitty that must be fed research and decide for yourself. I am going with goats milk to be light on its tummy. The little one didn't make a (pardon my french :)poop for 5 days. So switch from formula to goats milk. I also went to the pet store and bought a gel that helps with hairballs it is also suppose to help them go as well. It has a mixture of oils like mineral oil and has flavoring. So far it has helped. He is going...hurray!! Speaking of going...since this is a science project I must tell you all the icky details. In this lovely adventure we have learned while cleaning it you must clean around certain areas to help stimulate the kitty and make it go. They do not go on their own. Though they won't need help in that department for long...thank goodness!!

Here is kitty with both eyes opened. It was 11 days before both eyes completely opened. Next change we are waiting for is when its little ears pop up and it looks like a regular ole kitty :) This happens in about 2 weeks. We are almost there...can't wait for those ears to pop up :)

Speaking of kitties ears, my daughters noticed that when you feed the kittie its ears wiggle.... too funny :)
