Be Not Afraid, I go before you always

Psalm 46
God Is Our Fortress
To the choirmaster. Of the Sons of Korah. According to Alamoth. [7] A Song.
46:1 God is our refuge and strength,
a very present [8] help in trouble.
2 Therefore we will not fear though the earth gives way,
though the mountains be moved into the heart of the sea,
3 though its waters roar and foam,
though the mountains tremble at its swelling. Selah

4 There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God,
the holy habitation of the Most High.
5 God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved;
God will help her when morning dawns.
6 The nations rage, the kingdoms totter;
he utters his voice, the earth melts.
7 The Lord of hosts is with us;
the God of Jacob is our fortress. Selah

8 Come, behold the works of the Lord,
how he has brought desolations on the earth.
9 He makes wars cease to the end of the earth;
he breaks the bow and shatters the spear;
he burns the chariots with fire.
10 “Be still, and know that I am God.
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth!”
11 The Lord of hosts is with us;
the God of Jacob is our fortress. Selah

Psalm 136
His Steadfast Love Endures Forever
136:1 Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good,for his steadfast love endures forever.2 Give thanks to the God of gods,for his steadfast love endures forever.3 Give thanks to the Lord of lords,for his steadfast love endures forever;
4 to him who alone does great wonders,for his steadfast love endures forever;5 to him who by understanding made the heavens,for his steadfast love endures forever;6 to him who spread out the earth above the waters,for his steadfast love endures forever;7 to him who made the great lights,for his steadfast love endures forever;8 the sun to rule over the day,for his steadfast love endures forever;9 the moon and stars to rule over the night,for his steadfast love endures forever;
10 to him who struck down the firstborn of Egypt,for his steadfast love endures forever;11 and brought Israel out from among them,for his steadfast love endures forever;12 with a strong hand and an outstretched arm,for his steadfast love endures forever;13 to him who divided the Red Sea in two,for his steadfast love endures forever;14 and made Israel pass through the midst of it,for his steadfast love endures forever;15 but overthrew [6] Pharaoh and his host in the Red Sea,for his steadfast love endures forever;16 to him who led his people through the wilderness,for his steadfast love endures forever;
17 to him who struck down great kings,for his steadfast love endures forever;18 and killed mighty kings,for his steadfast love endures forever;19 Sihon, king of the Amorites,for his steadfast love endures forever;20 and Og, king of Bashan,for his steadfast love endures forever;21 and gave their land as a heritage,for his steadfast love endures forever;22 a heritage to Israel his servant,for his steadfast love endures forever.
23 It is he who remembered us in our low estate,for his steadfast love endures forever;24 and rescued us from our foes,for his steadfast love endures forever;25 he who gives food to all flesh,for his steadfast love endures forever.
26 Give thanks to the God of heaven,for his steadfast love endures forever.

The Lord Reigns

Psalm 93
The Lord Reigns
93:1 The Lord reigns; he is robed in majesty;the Lord is robed; he has put on strength as his belt.Yes, the world is established; it shall never be moved.2 Your throne is established from of old;you are from everlasting.
3 The floods have lifted up, O Lord,the floods have lifted up their voice;the floods lift up their roaring.4 Mightier than the thunders of many waters,mightier than the waves of the sea,the Lord on high is mighty!
5 Your decrees are very trustworthy;holiness befits your house,O Lord, forevermore.

It is my goal to share about other blogs that I find very healthful. Wether it be body,heart or mind. Spiritual and/or physical. Trying to make it be every tuesday(not always happening yet) Anyway today I would like to share Robin's Blog and post link.

Change My Heart Oh God

While I waited for the ambulance, the song played over and over in my head. I was praying “Lord, if I am coming home I want to be surrounded by my family–not sitting in the Kangaroo convenience parking lot, but your will be done, please watch over my children.”

The King of Glory, Praise Him

Psalm 24
The King of Glory
A Psalm of David.
24:1 The earth is the Lord's and the fullness thereof, [1]
the world and those who dwell therein,
2 for he has founded it upon the seas
and established it upon the rivers.

3 Who shall ascend the hill of the Lord?
And who shall stand in his holy place?
4 He who has clean hands and a pure heart,
who does not lift up his soul to what is false
and does not swear deceitfully.
5 He will receive blessing from the Lord
and righteousness from the God of his salvation.
6 Such is the generation of those who seek him,
who seek the face of the God of Jacob. [2] Selah

7 Lift up your heads, O gates!
And be lifted up, O ancient doors,
that the King of glory may come in.
8 Who is this King of glory?
The Lord, strong and mighty,
the Lord, mighty in battle!
9 Lift up your heads, O gates!
And lift them up, O ancient doors,
that the King of glory may come in.
10 Who is this King of glory?
The Lord of hosts,
he is the King of glory!

Cast Your Burden on the Lord

Psalm 55
Cast Your Burden on the Lord
To the choirmaster: with stringed instruments. A Maskil [1] of David.
55:1 Give ear to my prayer, O God,
and hide not yourself from my plea for mercy!
2 Attend to me, and answer me;
I am restless in my complaint and I moan,
3 because of the noise of the enemy,
because of the oppression of the wicked.
For they drop trouble upon me,
and in anger they bear a grudge against me.

4 My heart is in anguish within me;
the terrors of death have fallen upon me.
5 Fear and trembling come upon me,
and horror overwhelms me.
6 And I say, “Oh, that I had wings like a dove!
I would fly away and be at rest;
7 yes, I would wander far away;
I would lodge in the wilderness; Selah
8 I would hurry to find a shelter
from the raging wind and tempest.”

9 Destroy, O Lord, divide their tongues;
for I see violence and strife in the city.
10 Day and night they go around it
on its walls,
and iniquity and trouble are within it;
11 ruin is in its midst;
oppression and fraud
do not depart from its marketplace.

12 For it is not an enemy who taunts me—
then I could bear it;
it is not an adversary who deals insolently with me—
then I could hide from him.
13 But it is you, a man, my equal,
my companion, my familiar friend.
14 We used to take sweet counsel together;
within God's house we walked in the throng.
15 Let death steal over them;
let them go down to Sheol alive;
for evil is in their dwelling place and in their heart.

16 But I call to God,
and the Lord will save me.
17 Evening and morning and at noon
I utter my complaint and moan,
and he hears my voice.
18 He redeems my soul in safety
from the battle that I wage,
for many are arrayed against me.
19 God will give ear and humble them,
he who is enthroned from of old, Selah
because they do not change
and do not fear God.

20 My companion [2] stretched out his hand against his friends;
he violated his covenant.
21 His speech was smooth as butter,
yet war was in his heart;
his words were softer than oil,
yet they were drawn swords.

22 Cast your burden on the Lord,
and he will sustain you;
he will never permit
the righteous to be moved.

23 But you, O God, will cast them down
into the pit of destruction;
men of blood and treachery
shall not live out half their days.
But I will trust in you.

Times Up

Posted by: Charity Gordon

In trying to catch up on the house work one thing I am doing is relying on my timer. I set my timer for 30min. and begin housework then when my 30min. is up I set it for 30min. again, durning this time I may spend little time on writing, working on buiz or go on FB or twitter or what ever but as soons as the bell rings time is up. I then set the timer for 30min and work on house. I go back and forth like this all day. The last time I set my timer is after dinner clean up. This helps me keep at work on house work and also stops me from spending to much time on other things. This makes it all about the timer not about the big to do. You soon find your actually getting somewhere! Give it a try and see if it works for you.

Thank you for stopping by!!

My Soul Thirst for You

Psalm 63:1-8
My Soul Thirsts for You
A Psalm of David, when he was in the wilderness of Judah.
63:1 O God, you are my God; earnestly I seek you;my soul thirsts for you;my flesh faints for you,as in a dry and weary land where there is no water.2 So I have looked upon you in the sanctuary,beholding your power and glory.3 Because your steadfast love is better than life,my lips will praise you.4 So I will bless you as long as I live;in your name I will lift up my hands.
5 My soul will be satisfied as with fat and rich food,and my mouth will praise you with joyful lips,6 when I remember you upon my bed,and meditate on you in the watches of the night;7 for you have been my help,and in the shadow of your wings I will sing for joy.8 My soul clings to you;your right hand upholds me.
