Room by Room
PostedThis years theme has been all about bringing a friend along on your journey towards healthy living. Walking or running with a friend or family member, bible studies with friends ideas from the world wide web for family living and house cleaning, healthy eating etc.
Today i ask do you find yourself way behind on your house chores and projects? Have u tried everything under the sun to try and get caught up but still find yourself behind? Many things can cause us to get behind a week down with the flu can take weeks or even months to get caught back up. Then some one else goes and catches the flu with in the family and you find your self in a hole you can't seem to get out. I know that many find there self in this position or there would not be so many books and video's and websites out there on getting organized in the home. So you are not alone many many share your frustrations. You can pull out but instead of trying to pull yourself out how about asking a friend or family member for help. This may mean you have to swallow your pride but it will be well worth it in the end. I am sure they could also use your help in a some area you can offer to help them as well.
Ask someone to work on at least one room with you. Having a quick since of accomplishment encourages you to keep going. And also helps you to get going on a routine and really put those organized home books to use. My mother in law is awesome she is always willing to help out in anyway she can and it is all out of love for her family. She would drop every thing to help a family member. She has always been there for us. When my children were diagnosed with diabetes and had to be hospitalized, when one of my sons was diagnosed with Addison's Disease and had to be hospitalized while i stayed there with them my mother in law was there for the rest of the kids at home. I could go on and on.

Maybe you can ask a friend to help you decorate a room or what ever project you have been wanting to do. It will be more fun be finished more quickly and you mix some of your creativity with theirs. My mother and i are working on a room for my daughter painting it and giving it a whole new make over. I am so glad i ask my mom to help it would not have turned out the way it is i am really liking some of her idea's and so glad to use those idea's and i know my daughter will love it!! We have it painted and will be putting a Asian theme to it. I will post before and after pictures soon.
OK so did you think of a room or project and a person you'd like to join you? Where could they use your help ask them where they would like your help and that you would like to return the favor. I'm thinking my family i will help my mother in law with yard work. Her yard is always so beautiful she works hard to keep it up. I'm thinking she needs to sit back one weekend while we do the work 6 of us could get a lot done and give her a brake. And lets see my mom i think i remember her talking about painting another room in her house think i will offer to help. Bringing a friend brings encouragement, a since of accomplishment as well as enjoyment so go ahead bring a friend room by room you will be glad you did!!
