Psalm 21:1-7
The King Rejoices in the Lord's Strength
To the choirmaster. A Psalm of David.
21:1 O Lord, in your strength the king rejoices,
and in your salvation how greatly he exults!
2 You have given him his heart's desire
and have not withheld the request of his lips. Selah
3 For you meet him with rich blessings;
you set a crown of fine gold upon his head.
4 He asked life of you; you gave it to him,
length of days forever and ever.
5 His glory is great through your salvation;
splendor and majesty you bestow on him.
6 For you make him most blessed forever; [1]
you make him glad with the joy of your presence.
7 For the king trusts in the Lord,
and through the steadfast love of the Most High he shall not be moved.

In taking steps to healthier living and save money to I decided to join a local co-op group. I have also in the past joined a CSA and we did work share. This year it will be the co-op, growing veggies in our yard, farmers market and volunteer work when we can at a near by farm and CSA. Also I plan to go to pick your own farms to get fruit and such.
When getting your produce in this way you don't always know what you are going to get so instead of putting together a menu plan before you do the shopping i will be trying something new and do this after i get all the goods. Friday's will be my shopping for goods day. My co-op pick up is every other Friday so i will be doing any grocery shopping that needs to be done on this day as well. Today I'm hopeful i have enough for two weeks. Tonight i will put together a 2 week menu plan. I will try and share that with you on Monday.
Tonight we will have breakfast for dinner, eggs, hash browns and asparagus.
For lunch we had left over stuff and biscuits for breakfast.
Keeping my fingers crossed that we won't need to head back to grocery store until Friday wk two. Oh and i am finally using coupons for things like shampoo and such in my trying to save money venture. I hear a future post coming, "saving money venture" :)
Thanks for stopping by

"Did you know that the blueberry is one of the most underrated fruits commonly available to us today? It has a long and illustrious history in America but yet the majority of us do not count it amongst our favorite foods. When you look at the health benefits we really should. There's nothing like a good portion of tasty, juicy blueberries to treat our taste buds and help our bodies to stay as healthy as possible."

Ask someone to work on at least one room with you. Having a quick since of accomplishment encourages you to keep going. And also helps you to get going on a routine and really put those organized home books to use. My mother in law is awesome she is always willing to help out in anyway she can and it is all out of love for her family. She would drop every thing to help a family member. She has always been there for us. When my children were diagnosed with diabetes and had to be hospitalized, when one of my sons was diagnosed with Addison's Disease and had to be hospitalized while i stayed there with them my mother in law was there for the rest of the kids at home. I could go on and on.
The most healthy and cheep way to eat healthy is to grow your own. Since it is that time of year i will try and share video's of differn't ways of growing your own so tune in every tuesday for grow your own veggies.
